Physalis peruviana

The fruits are little orange balls and are used as a garnish in posh restaurants.

Red currants 1 - these were growing in the kitchen garden at Normanby Hall.

Rocotto chilli (Capsicum pubescens). A fine and, apparently, quite hot, chilli that we're looking forward to trying. This type can be nurtured over the winter, like a tender geranium.

Being adapted the mountains of Bolivia, it thrives in a cooler climate than many other chillies.

The webbing visible isn't red spider mite, by the way, but a common spider's web.
