Laburnum, Sycamore and Rhododrendron in spring 1.

Taken at Normanby Hall. The sun caught the Laburnum flowers and the glow of colour showed through the Sycamore leaves very beautifully.

Malus 'Golden Hornet'

These orange/yellow crab apples will stay on the tree for much of the winter. A good tree for an average garden.

Swamp cypress in autumn. The crushed leaves have a lovely, pungent smell.

Young alder leaves 1.

Taken in Broughton's East wood.

Young alder leaves 2.

These trees grow along the bank of a tiny stream and have wild garlic growing nearby.

Ash keys.

This tree suffered badly in the drought of 2003 but recovered well.

Autumn beech leaves 1.

The sun shining through these leaves really brought their colour out.
